Yes, yet again Facebook may be changing the way you see your profile. It's called the Facebook Timeline: a new kind of profile. Many could see this addition to Facebook as an option, or it could become default for all. This type of profile will allow users to look all the way back to the first time they logged on to Facebook. This would definitely be an aid to employers who scout using Facebook. Best advice would be to check yourself, before they do.

Blogs that are actually intended to be funny...
As a part of the time I take to find something online that is worth laughing at. During the majority of the time, I typically ignore the blog sector. Why you might ask? The answer is simple. Blogs typically come with some sort of opinion associated with it. Whether it be political, religious, or even informational; I just tend to steer away from blogs (even though I am writing one right now). The blog I found though, caught my eye automatically. The blog is about a guy who posts text message conversations that he has with his cousin. It's very humorous based on the character that his cousin is. To me, this is a great example of a "viral blog" if there ever was one. Since it was started this month, and has grabbed a lot of attention with it's content. Go check it out.

Facebook expanding their smartphone empire?
http://mashable.com/2011/11/27/facebook-phone-mobile-apps/
Facebook seems to be looking to improve their HTC apps.. This is definitely a good thing. Since I own and use a HTC phone, I've noticed several glitches, and obvious slow transitions in use for the current app. Hopefully they'll be able to improve their function-ability in the future. Honestly, I don't think anyone will be 100% happy with the app until it is exactly like a real facebook page itself.

We are one step closer to becoming the Jetson's..

First we can talk to our iPhones...and soon enough our computers could catch on to our mood swings. I don't know whether to believe that this is going too far in the "relationship" with technology. I can definitely understand certain models technology, especially the "super computers" that Hollywood makes us believe are real, but to put them in the hands of real everyday people, to me at least seems concerning. Concerning in the way that people could become too dependent on this type of technology in their personal lives.
Maybe time will tell...

Social Thievery?
A survey conducted in the UK by Credit Sesame found stated that "50 ex-burglars in the UK Nearly 80% of them said they had used Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare to target which properties to rob. Another 73% said they used Google Street View to scope out neighborhoods ahead of time."
I think it's kind of odd that this hasn't seen a blow up in popularity here in the states. But I guess since home owners over in the UK have thought ahead of time, and posting the faces of burglars on social media sites via web cameras; this might deter the idea of this becoming a "catchy" idea.

Another user of Twitter fined..
Miami Heat owner Mickey Airison was fined by the NBA for Tweets he made public where he criticized the handling of the NBA lockout. Airison was fined a hefty $500,000 for his explicit tweets. The original Tweets were seen like this: “How’s it feel to be a part [sic] of ruining the best game in the world? NBA owners/players don’t give a damn about fans&and guess what? Fans provide all the money you’re fighting over&you greedy [expletive] pigs.”
Arision has a point, everyone must admit that. The biggest loser in the NBA lockout, just like in the NFL lockout, is the fans. They provide the majority of the cash flow these players and owners see. I honestly think that if Airison had "reworded" his Tweet before posting it. It would have been talked about just the same, but he wouldn't have been fined for it. The only merit to the fine is the language he used. The rest is fact, and NBA knows it. Professional sports, will never be the same.
